Since Paris Fashion week is now over I thought it would be fun to share with you a few of my favorite outfits that were worn by some of the shows attendees. 

 

On Trend for Spring 2013

It's that time of year again, when the sun's getting warmer, the grass is getting greener, and the flowers are beginning to blossom. It's time to start putting away our winter clothing, time to remove those layers and let a little more skin show. Spring is almost here, and if your like me and want to be on trend and stylin' this season then here are some of the hottest trends that you may want to incorporate into your wardrobe for this Spring 2013 season.

From the Catwalk to the Sidewalk

I was looking through some pictures of different collections shown at fashion week and was wishing I could wear some of the outfits I saw. Of course everything on the runway is far to expensive for me to even dream of owning, as I'm sure is true for most of you. But it got me thinking, that it would be cool to try and re-create some of the designers outfits using cheeper pieces from clothing stores I can actually afford. It ended up being quite a fun little experiment; going to different online stores, and looking through their clothing to try and spot the perfect shirt, skirt, etc, that most closely resembled the one on the runway. I highly recommend doing this if you too want to be seen in the most current and on trend looks. And it just goes to show that anyone really can rock the 'runway look' without the 'runway price.'

New York Fashion Week: Fall 2013 Trends

Even though New York fashion week has come to an end, the hunt for the trendiest Fall Fashions is just beginning. So whether you are an aspiring fashionista or already a style savvy expert, you'll want get your wallet ready and be prepared to drop a pretty penny on these current trends making their way to the streets in the coming months.

Hot Trends for Fall 2013:

Mix of Masculine and Feminine
i.e. Trousers paired with a Dress
Fur
-including everything from vests, to purses, to head pieces.
Florals
-paired with darker colors such as grey or charcoal
Boxy Shirts
-Paired with tighter fitting skirts or pants

The hottest color for Fall 2013:

RED.
-Paired alongside jewel toned colors such as blue, green, orange, and pink.
